Meadowcroft Recreation Area

MEADOWCROFT

Meadowcroft is located in the heart of Upper Stratton.

This large grassed area includes two football pitches, a wide selection of play equipment  including a roundabout with wheelchair access, multi activity unit, swings, slide and a see-saw.  The area is fenced off completely to keep out dogs and ensure a safer environment for children of all ages to play in.

Also provided is a basket ball hoop, goal post and a youth shelter.

The two adult football pitches are available for hire with the use of a pavilion for changing  facilities.  Please contact the office for more details.

During the summer months a cricket square is cut for the use by the residents.

However dog walking is available on the rest of the grassed area provided dog owners remove any faeces and deposit in the dog bins provided.

The new multi use ball game arena has been completed.  The area sited to the side of the Community Rooms at Meadowcroft has been well received by the Youth of Stratton who use it throughout the day and into the early hours of the evening.

The arena was installed by the Councils groundstaff and is used for football and basketball.
