Stratton St Margaret Parish Council allows the erection of Lawn Memorials for full interment graves and Desk memorials for cremated remains within its cemeteries.  Kerb sets are no longer allowed. 

The Grant of Exclusive Right Holder must apply to the Parish Council before a memorial can be erected.  When you choose a monumental mason you must ensure that they are registered under the Monumental Registration Scheme (click on the link opposite to see a list of registered masons).  The Masons will apply to us on your behalf after they have completed the necessary forms with you and taken a copy of your grant.

The current fees for the erection of a memorial are:

The Right to Erect a headstone - Under 16 years: £41.00
The Right to Erect a headstone - Over 16 years: £107.00
Additional Inscriptions - FREE
The Right to Place a Cremation Tablet - £101.00
Memorial Tablet in Garden of Peace 9" x 2" - FREE
(White Marble Only on a smooth concrete base)

We do allow memorial photographs within the headstone, maximum size 7cm x 9cm.

We only allow the Surname on the Reverse of the stone.
