Community Grant Awards 2024/25
During 2024/25 we supported a wide variety of organisations. Here is an update on just a few of them:
- Wiltshire Tree House were awarded £650 towards Child Bereavement Training program for professionals. “Thank you for your kind donation your support makes a real difference to the lives of the Children, Young People and Families we support.”
- St John Ambulance were awarded £1,000 towards their First Aid Network. “Our sincerest thanks, we will utilize your award towards our local work in and around Swindon.”
- Prospect Hospice were awarded £2,500 for Hospice care in Stratton St Margaret. “Your generous grant has been used to enable local people to access high quality and bespoke end of life care services”.
- MHA Communities were awarded £1,000 towards transport and events. This enabled them to take a group on a barge trip for a Summer Day Out.
- Sylvester at Route 8 Barbers was awarded free use of Meadowcroft hall on Christmas day to provide free breakfast and lunch to anyone who was alone at Christmas. “Just wanted to say THANK you to you all for another year, over 100 meals were served and everyone was happy.”
- St Margaret’s Pre-School were awarded £2,500 towards the rent of their hall. “A massive ‘Thanks’ from the staff and children. This is a massive help for us and we are super grateful.”
